Regular Trash Pick-Up Schedule on Monday, MLK Day

Trash pick-up for Milford customers will take place on Monday, January 16th, as usual.   All other customers will also be picked up on their regular day this week.

Hope you enjoy the long weekend!

STORM ALERT: No Change to Thursday Schedule

Good morning–

Well, what do you know?  Snow.  We will be picking up our regular Thursday customers today, January 12th.  We may be delayed by some slippery roads and slow traffic, but we’ll be there!

Thank you, as always, for your business and enjoy the white stuff.

H2O Is Hiring Drivers! Know Anyone?

Thought I would reach out to our customer and fan base to see if we can find a great, new addition for the H2O Team!  Here is the “classified ad” job description and please feel free to forward.  Applicants can contact me directly.  Thanks!

Fast growing, local trash removal company seeks reliable, hard working & courteous driver to service trash routes in the Milford, NH area 10-20 hours per week.  Shifts begin at 6:30 AM. No experience necessary – we will train the right person! Candidate must have clean driving record and DOT medical card.  CDL not required but a plus.   Contact Ryan at 603 732-0961 or request application at byebyedump.com

Christmas Trees – Sorry, We Can’t Take Them, but the Boy Scouts Can!

Unfortunately, we are not able to take your Christmas tree with your regular trash.  As is true with yard waste, we just don’t have a proper way to dispose of it for you as we can’t mix those materials with the regular trash.

Boy Scout Troop 407 is offering tree removal for a donation to the Scout’s trip in July to the Scout Philmont Ranch in New Mexico.  They are picking trees up on January 7th for residents in Amherst, Milford and Mont Vernon (and I bet if you called them they may consider some neighboring towns).

To schedule your pick-up please call Matt Carl at 603 672-7261 or email the troop at Troop407trees@hotmail.com.

If this solution is not available to you, many of the other area troops have their pick-ups set for this weekend and next and there are several local organizations that do take trees for a suggested donation.

Check the local papers and Google for your town and organizations.  Sorry we can’t be of more help.  This is one of the few items that stumps us – get it! – every year.

Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas from H2O & No Change to Next Weeks Schedule

Thank you to all of our customers and vendors for making 2011 a great success for H2O Waste Disposal.  We very much appreciate your business, referrals and all the kind words and cards over the past week.

Both Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Sundays this year so all pick-ups will take place on their regular days.

Don’t worry about the extra bags next week with all of the holiday leftovers, wrapping paper, boxes, etc.  We’re expecting it!

We wish you the very merriest of Christmases and look forward to working with you in the New Year!

Christmas Trees and a Free Movie for a Good Cause

I hope yule – get it! – forgive a couple of non-trash related holiday announcements.

Christmas Trees

H2O Waste Disposal is a proud sponsor of the Milford Rotary Club Christmas Tree Sale taking place at Frederick’s Pastries at 109 Route 101A in Amherst.  We have fresh Balsam and Frazier fir trees from Colebrook, NH and ALL proceeds go to local charities and scholarships.  If you’re looking for a way to make your tree purchase do more this year, please keep our Rotary trees in mind.  We also have wreathes and roping.  Click here for directions:  http://www.pastry.net/fredericks-amherst.php

Free Movie!

The Milford Rotary is also sponsoring a free (with donation of a canned or non-perishable good – so not really ‘free’ but almost free) screening of the 1983 classic holiday film “A Christmas Story” at the equally classic Wilton Town Hall Theatre at 2 PM this Sunday, Dec 4th.  The donations will help stock the shelves of the Wilton Open Cupboard food pantry.  Hope you can make it!  View the trailer here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085334/ and get directions to the theatre here:  http://www.wiltontownhalltheatre.com/

Thank you, as always, for your business and we hope you’re enjoying the blessings of the holiday season.

Thanksgiving Week Schedule for Trash Pick Up

All other pick-up days will remain the same.

We’re thankful for your business and hope you enjoy a pleasant Thanksgiving with family and friends.

STORM UPDATE – Regular Schedule This Week

H2O will be picking up on our regular schedule this week.  There are no changes to the schedule due to the storm.

Hope this finds you warm and thank you for your business!

Labor Day Schedule – We’re Picking up on Monday!

Ummm, what happened to summer?

As usual, H2O will be picking-up our regular Monday customers on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th.

Due to the Milford Labor Day Parade and the closing of roads, there may be some change to the routes so, as always, please have your trash out for us by 7 AM so we’re sure not to miss you.

The only holidays on which we do not pick up are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.

All customers will be picked up on their regular day that week.  Enjoy your Labor Day!

New Boston and Weare – Capitol Trash Has Closed Its Doors

We have learned this week that Capitol Trash has gone out of business and is no longer servicing their customers.

Capitol Trash serviced New Boston and Weare and we have already received calls from customers left in the lurch.  If you need help with your trash or have friends, family or neighbors who no longer have a curbside trash removal provider, please let us know and we’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about our service.

Please email us or call and we can get you picked up immediately and placed on our regular Thursday schedule.

Thank you and we look forward to servicing all of your trash needs!
